Nutrition

We are proud to partner with our food service provider, Milwaukee Center for Independence (MCFI). They provide healthy meals and nutrition education to several schools and early learning centers through out the City of Milwaukee. They also provide healthy meals during the summer in parks, bridging the food gap while school is not in session.

Food Service for the 2024-2025 School Year

Students will receive traditional cold breakfast items and lunches will contain hot options. The menus are updated each month, and the school will provide the menus before the start of the month.

Special Dietary Needs

Providing special dietary accommodations for children with disabilities is required under the National School Lunch Act, the Child Nutrition Program (CNP) regulations and in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act of 2008. Read our procedures for special dietary needs here.

School Breakfast Program and National School Lunch Program

At HOPE Christian Schools, we are proud to participate in the School Breakfast Program (SBP) and the National School Lunch Program (NSLP). These federally assisted meal programs provide nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free meals to children each school day. Administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), these programs ensure that every child has access to the nutritious meals they need to grow, learn, and thrive.  Read more here.
